Promoting the incredible potential of solar power, an inexhaustible and free energy source, is one of the founding pillars of XSun. The successful marriage between new technologies and renewable energies (such a solar power) provides a whole host of solutions. SolarXOne, the 1st drone model designed and manufactured by XSun, is a product of this marriage.
After graduating from Polytech’Nantes in 2001 and SUPAERO in 2002, Benjamin David has spent his whole career in the space sector, at national then European level.
Following training at the CNES and the ESA (European Space Agency), he worked for AIRBUS Defence & Space Ltd in England for the British military SKYNET5 project for 5 years. He was in charge of control systems for British military satellites and took part in two missions on ARIANE 5 (SKYNET 5A and 5B).
In 2008, he moved to Munich to take charge of the development and integration system for the GALILEO constellation orbital control system at the DLR (German Space Centre). He became the manager of the centre in 2013, supervising a team of 25 people from 7 different nationalities.
Benjamin David is experienced in managing complex and ambitious international projects. He resigned from AIRBUS DEFENCE & SPACE in 2015 to create XSun in France.

Given the complexity and stakes involved in the project, in addition to having a board of management which includes an SME manager and a former SME manager, Benjamin David has chosen to be supported by several advisers.
